The Piedirosso grape which gives this rosè wine its cherry & blueberry aroma, along with its mesmerising colour, is considered to be one of the best grape varieties of southern Italy. The round & savoury flavour profile accompanies summer fish dishes wonderfully, as well as transporting you to the sun-drenched hills of Avellino where the grapes are grown. By Ageing it in oak barrels, it adds complexity & depth to its flavour profile, & intensity to its colour.
